This 1-liter stein with lid is the Official Oktoberfest stoneware beer mug that is created yearly for the Munich Oktoberfest. Sadly, the Oktoberfest festival grounds in Munich was again vacant in 2021, due to continuing concerns over the Covid-19 pandemic. Oktoberfest 2021 was originally scheduled to take place from 9/18/2021 – 10/03/2021. Instead, the celebration remembering this great festival can be had at home with your own official mug or stein.

The Oktoberfest collector’s stein remains true to the simple shape which has been unchanged for over a century. A finished mug has gone through many hands and production steps. The high-quality finish, evinced by many fine details, makes the official 2021 Oktoberfest mug a valuable example of a traditional handcraft. The mug is produced by the firm of Rastal, based in Höhr-Grenzhausen, which still today fulfills orders for stoneware and pewter articles in the tradition of the master craftsmanship of the “Kannenbäckerland”.

The 2021 Oktoberfest at Home Official Stein (and 2020’s stein) will be the rarest pieces in any official Oktoberfest collection due to the reduced quantity produced. We were able to secure a limited amount from the supplier, however once our stock has sold, it will be sold out for this year’s stein.   

Each Official beer stein has a copy of the artist’s signature on the bottom and a relief decorated domed pewter lid. Comes with a certificate of authenticity and gift box.
